Night fishing on Sawyer

My buddy and I went out for the first time on sawyer after dark and the bite was slow.  He caught a few dinks and nothing for me. Angry  I picked up a friend that just moved to the lake and he never fish for bass before, but last night he caught his first smallmouth, a nice 3.3lber.  We fished from 8:30pm-12:45am.
