Two tourneys going on this weekend gang.  So lets get fired up for the FIRST tourneys of the year  .  Carlos and I will be fishing at the ABA on Washington.  The rest of you can fight over one or two bites at Silver.  Count me out of that.  I love Silver at the right time of the year, but March aint that time.  Best of luck to all who are headed down there.

  I concur, TUBES on Lake Washington!!!!  Specifically, green pumpkin/ gold flake with an insert jig head on 6 lb. test on the shallow side of a rock drop off from 20 dropping down to 40 ft. or more.  Long casts to deep water, let it fall to the bottom and reel it back real SLOW.  If you snag, SET THE HOOK!  I've been skunked only once this year all winter (out of a dozen times or more).  Last trip two weeks ago (with Chris), a 4 even and a 4#12 on back to back casts!!!!!!!!!  This will get weight. This does work and best of all, you can fish it effectively in the wind that WILL be out there!  Good luck guys.  Dave and I will be hunkered down on Silver Lake fishing for the one bite Russ also spoke of!  See ya'll down there.

HMMMMMMMMMMM........I awoke this morning with a rush......why you ask?
Because by this time tommorrow me and Stu will be flailing the water...again.....in search of the Green fish and you know..........THIS IS A GREAT TIME OF YEAR!
Some folks dont fish tournaments because they want to keep it fun and low key well......I can agree with some of that but more over, I feel so pumped up to begin the year anew and try to figure out this puzzle that is fishing. The winter has recharged my batteries for the competition that this club keeps "Low Key and Fun"

Having to go all the way (end to end) on Silver Lake with the Trolling Motor in piercing rain and 3-4 foot white caps and miss weigh in by a good 30-40 minutes= PRICELESS Or fishless in this matter
