Larry,

Dude all you need is that friday before the tourney to pre-fish. Trust me, have done it that way for years and the fish that you find the weekend before will have moved to another location by T-Time.

I hope i have a better tourney than i did out there fishing yesterday. Was on the water from 8:00 to 4:00 and only one dink to talk about. had another  bite but forgot how to pull back on the rod and ram the hook home. O well it was one heck of a learning experience.

Joel,

Fear not, the fish slayer team of Russ Baker/Carlos Trujillo will tame those toads for you.

Bring on the fishing.

Nick,

You are probably right. I probably will be eating that HUMBLE PIE with you as well if the weather don't turn ASAP.

Early spring is a weird time to fish.

Russ last time I checked the weather was supposed to be 58 and rain. if ya can't handle that move back to Texas because this is the northwest and we get rain. it can't be much worse than sunday wind wise. IIf my big motor was runnin I would have found bass. My dads one bite came outside the canals so the wind made it hard for me to work the mouths of the canals. i think they're out in the mouths waiting to move in.

Nick,

Dude it rains harder in Texas than anywhere else and heck I fished in that crap for 25 years so I am quite used to it. Now add some lightning to it and you have a typical rainy day in Texas.

So we are quite spoiled up here that we have no lightning with the rain, just some cold temps to not make it as fun.

Brian,

58-60 degrees, that will change to around 54-55 by the time we hit it on saturday. Still good temps for this time of year.

Russ, That might help the bite, Sat. it was off and on rain with some wind and most of the fish I caught were very aggressive.
