Stu,  I'll be there if I survive my "50th" birthday the day before.  SO, this OLD MAN may just catch one big hog, that would be a nice present.  Hey,  I also have a brand new portable propane grill I want to donate to the program for use at fish in's, so I'll bring it along for you to use if you can load it home.  It's portable and like I said, brand new...

Thanks,

Chuck Pigue

Wow, Chuck. Thanks! We'll make good use of the grill, I promise. Happy to carry it home. I've got 8 feet of truck bed to use.

Glad you will be able to make it to the fish-in.

Sorry, no beef stew. I gave in and bought chili and dogs again. Tongue

I have all the details for using my freind's dock and deck to eat - or we can eat in the park. We'll see which one we like best when we get there.

Who all is going? New members? We can try to pair some people up for rides, if needed.

Larry,

Those shallow Bandit Cranks don't work. Just give them to me. Yeah right just ask Payseno about how they work.

Looking at the weather report a couple minutes ago and the winds are suppost to only be to 6mph until later in the afternoon with the rain being off and on through the day. As for what to throw, I'll be out there with my spinnerbait, (off white) B/B 1/4 oz. jig with a bulky trailer, a texas rigged lizard, a french fry and a tube with a light weight inside it.  "Maybe" a shallow crank in a bright color...... Here's the skinny on the long lake fish-in.  We had 3 boats 6 people and by 1:30pm there were 4 Lm caught. A 3lber by Stu, a 3 1/2 and a 4.4 by Earnist and a 5lb. 11oz. by myself. Cool  All the fish were caught on spinnerbaits except a 2lb.+ trout that was taken on a shallow crank that we won't talk about..... Roll Eyes The water temp was 48.6* and the light wind and the small traces of rain we had mix with the good company made it an awesome day. Smiley

Sorry for the late post, but I was wiped out last night from actually reeling in a decent largemouth.  Great fish-in. Thanks to Larry, Faz, Jose, Brian and Ernest for coming out. Everyone else missed a really nice spinnerbait bite. Ernest and I threw them almost all day. Ernest said that this was one of his best largemouth days. Glad it was from the back of the mighty Lund.
