Just got back from the coast and well...we might need to check on a club trip to get some Sea Bass.
It is amazing how much the Sea Bass looks like a Largemouth.....the charter with twelve guys caught 20 Sea Bass, three Starry Flounder, one Dog Fish and four keeper Salmon with five released natives.......mind you that the bottom fish limit is 10 and two Ling Cod are allowed per person with a Salmon Limit of two with only one King.
Oh...My total....one Starry Flounder..4 lbs.....one sea Bass...5 lbs.......one Coho Salmon 9 lbs.
For 95 bucks a day would recommend a boat using live bait.
In the summer when the lakes are crowded and the temps over 90 degrees the coast was 65 and sunny 2 ft seas on saturday and foggy with 10 ft. seas on Sunday.
So think about that as they have openings coming up and check out www.charterwestport.com
Campgrounds and motels are avail. and Aberdeen is close by.
