All I am concerned with........
if the boat with three has a 10 fish or more mortality combined with another 5-6 average hot weather  (90 degrees or more) mortality rate we could all go home early.
Tongue
also not intended to be a downer just like Kirk to think this through.

Oh - I take this trash-talk seriously.

After I weight in my second 23 pound sack on Sunday, I'm going to take out my 6-12 kicker and slap Dave Jarrell across the face with it, while saying, "Bow to your Sensei... BOW TO YOUR SENSEI!!!"

Then I'm going to go straight up to Mark Maderos, turn his yellow visor sideways and spit a sweet beaver in his face.

While all of this is happening I'm going to cut in front of every person waiting to weigh in and slap each of 'em on the butt with my wet, bassy-smelling, texas-riggin' hands.

To top it off, after Jim Rumman announces my weight, I'm going to grab the clipboard out of his hands, write in my weight and scribble "FIRST PLACE" next to it and slam it to the ground in anticipation of my landslide victory.

If everything goes according to plan, a truck will be waiting for me next to the weigh-in site so that after I slam the clipboard down I can jump in the truck, peel out, and spray gravel all over everyone before I even accept the first place plaque. I'll be mad that I wasn't even challenged enough to call the event a "tournament". It will be more like a "tutorial" and I'll make sure that the next time I fish a WBC event I'll purchase new outboard tournament banners for everyone that say, "Student" instead of "contest".

I guess this means I am changing my weight guess to 46 pounds.

CHUMPS!

Lets see if we can all remember who the Sensei is for the Chelan tourney.  If I remember correctly from last year, I was given the sensei shirt by grasshopper, Stu , who is still trying to snatch the pebble from my hand.  So I will be wearing the Team Cobra Kai sensei shirt, the WWF Raw belt, and bringing the 24lb sack to the weigh-in both days.  Nuf said

Maaark? Can I pleeeease have one of those pebbles like you are using?

I haven't seen such entertaining BS since the last episode of "Yo Mama" on MTV2.

Good luck everyone.

Hahaha...This is great! Chris that was hilarious! When you slap Dave, would that be called a "fish-slap?" Like "Dave, shut your mouth before I fish-slap you!" ??

I guess if Chris has it all locked up, I'll have to settle for second.....NOT!

Well I guess at the end of the day it will be the tournament director's decision. I understand the concern, but as a lot of people have pointed out - limits are rare for me.

I should think that Nick's extra aerator in the livewells will make a difference as well as a healthy dose of "please release me".

I'll be there, if I don't get to fish guess I'll go look for that fat largie from last year....

On the aerator issue, I have had my livewell full of fish before at Roosevelt in the summer and had little or no mortality.  I believe I had about 15 to 20 fish in there.  I was not really trying to keep them alive either, they were headed for the frying pan.  In any event, it is just a matter of keeping the water moving in the livewell the whole time.  It then depends on the battery that is servicing the livewell system if it can take that kind of beating and still crank the big motor.  I had that issue last year with Stu on the second day of the Columbia tourney.  Ran the battery down to the point I had to swap to the trolling batteries to get the big motor started.  The only other issue would be the amount of room of the livewell.  I know my boat doesn't have the biggest livewells in the world and sticking 15, 2 to 3 lb fish in there would get a little cramped.
My attitude is lets try it and if it doesn't work out after day one, I know that this club would step up and make sure Faz could get out there with another boat that could be more accomadating for day two.  And remember Faz, there is always room in my boat for ya.

Mark,

That is because the fish you had at Roosevelt were all just 6 inches long. Ha,ha.
