Good day for me on Long Lake today.  Missed a 3 lb cruiser about 30 seconds into the day right by the launch.  Saw another cruiser right after.  Ok, now to the fish.  Around 8:30 I got a 5lb1oz -21 inchs on a yum dinger, I think it may have been bedding, but I was just casting to shore.  Later got a 1lb12 oz on a spinnerbait.  Then around 2:30 pm I got a bite on a jig and craw that reminded me of lk washington smallie crushing a spinnerbait.  Thought I had a state record on   and then got my hand on a 6 lb 7 oz pig.   Beat my april fools day long lake fish by 2 oz.  Personal best is rising slowly    
For anyone wondering, did see a few bedding.  Worked a few without success.  Also saw a few balls of fry, so get on them local lakes before its too late.
BTW, awesome saturday for Wolsky and Hendrickson, congrats again !

Probably won't fish anywhere else from now on huh ,great fish dude.

hit up long lake for a couple hours this morning and unlike chris i was unable to find any monsters  .  got one in the pad field on the south side on a spinnerbait about 3lbs, and another off a dock with a handpour beaver about the same.  fish were both really healthy and some of the hardest fighting fish i have landed all year thought they were both toads.

Does my skinnyness make the fish look bigger?  Been like that a while, doesn't help though when you fish all day and never pack a lunch.
