For those new to the club...there is a tournament over Memorial Day Weekend at Banks lake where just about all the clubs in the state participate and commune together at Coulee Playland Resort.
As many as 170 boats have participated in years past!

The format is simple....every club has anglers who go out and fish and their man hours are tallied with their catch weight and the club with the best average wins...I believe it is based on a team of ten but not sure...we as a club have been in the top ten for (except last year) the last ten years and the Wa.T.B.F. (Federation) puts on a breakfast on sat.
The entry is I believe 20 dollars and they give a tackle pack and have commemorative shirts for sale.
a Barbecue on Sunday night and a Pro. guest speaker after the bar-B.
Not to mention a kids casting competition....adult camera search course......adult casting competition and the kids T.B.F. qualifier and a Raffle to boot!
Lots of stuff over the three days and some of us stay from Weds. prior to the week after! so if interested give Coulee Playland a call and get on the reservation list by letting hal know you are with Western Bass Club and he will get you in our camp area.
Also Post here if you are going so we can maybe get some carvan groups or team up some boaters/non-boaters and keep track of how many camp sites are taken.
