I"ve got a meeting set up with the director of the Pierce Co Parks & Recreation next Thursday evening at 5:30 pm at the Lakewood Community Center to expand the N. Co Park boat launch hours to accomodate fishermen.
A couple of fishermen I know are going to attend with me and if any of you would like to attend, it would be a benefit to all fishermen in the area.
For those of you not to familiar with Tapps, it's a hell of a smallmouth lake not to mention a darn good musky lake.
This is a very nice launch facility but is only open from 8 - 8 which eliminates the fishermen. This needs to be changed since fishermen just paid for half of the remodel/expansion of the facility in 2004.
