KissWell Ron talked me into going to Silver Lake instead of Potholes April 1 for three days. Young Son and me will be trying out our new 1965 Telescopic camper and luck on new water. I almost feel like I've been there though, Ron drew in on a lake map everyone's favorite spots. Roll Eyes Grin Leaving Fri. after work, come home Mon. afternoon. Shocked    What campground is the Club favorite? And do I need to make reservations this early in the year?                        Keep On Bassing

SHUT UP AND FISH!!!           I fish because the voices in my head tell me too.

Silver lake resort and campground is the usual as they have showers and a store and cabins for the less hardy...they should be open but I did not see much activity there last saturday

Tear 'em up! Grin

GEE Larry, the way this year has gone, I figure drive to Silver  and catch skunks and not have to drive very far home with Young Son telling me how I should consider golf. Embarrassed

With any lake this time of year but moreover Silver......slow down your presentations Silver is one of the few lakes that stays cloudy year round but especially right now so take advantage of your scents...ie...Smelly Jelly, Bang etc.... and the basic color tones.....Black and Blue...Jigs etc.....and Green Pumpkin with or without chartreuse spiking

Sounds like the normal stuff to throw. As for going slow--- I already have moss growing on my boat. Anyway can't wait to try Silver Lake. Thanks for the tips Larry! Shocked

You'll know you're fishing slow enough when you have moss growing on your line guides....
