I just saw on the CCBC site that the open will be March 25th.

Forms are available on their website.

I have a couple of questions for everybody:

1. Who is planning on fishing this tournament?

2.  Does the boat limit usually get filled and if it does how fast does this usually happen based on previous years?

3. Is this a one day or two day tournament?  According to Nick Barr's earlier post he said it was March 25-26 but the application shows only March 25....can anyone definitively answer this one for me?

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Bob

Bob...it does fill quick but I believe you have maybe two weeks before worrying.....as for the days...they have a two day permit but it is Saturday for the open and a club tourney on Sunday...so....one day.

Mark Maderos and I have already sent in our registration form to be sure we got in. Last year Dave and I put in less than 2 weeks before and still got in, so it's tough to tell. I believe last year they held 35 boats, but heard it may be more like 30 this year. Get it in to be safe. It should be only 1 day. It was last year, 1 long, cold, wet, slow day. Hopefully no cold fronts days before the tournament this year.

I'll be there with my same partner as the last four years. But I hope he is better luck then the past four years.

Lyle and I will be going at it again, as most have stated, I 'm just hoping we don't get slammed by another cold front, last year's weather was miserable. Undecided

Good one Doug,
I do remember him getting 4 last year out of my boat on day one,  so,  he might be good for another fish or two yet.  If could only remember to get a flippnin stick instead of trying to flip with that damn two piece trout rod.

Unfortunately I sold him one. That's why he landed that 5 lber. Plus we showed him all the good spots Mark. We'll have to see how he handles other boats all over them.

With Carlos fishing with Stu, I'm wondering if this club is equiped to deal with the handicapped.
