We had to draw against them and we won.  So they had to change their date,  we dont know what they changed it to.  It just isnt going to be in April.

I know.  Just wondering if they have a back-up.  I have fished it in March before, so we will see.

Yeah March....maybe we can get another late cold front and 10 hours of straight rain again......then we would only have to catch 2 fish to be in the money!

Methinks I detect just the slightest hint of cynicism from our resident law enforcement officer. Shocked

Naaa....It was awesome earlier that month until we got the cold weather the skier-crybabies wined about all winter. Fishing was hot.

Maybe Dave and I did sore mouth them all. You can add Hankinson to the list too though. They killed em the week prior.

I was there.  It was a very simple lesson on what a cold front can do to the fishing in the spring.  We had the same lesson at Potholes, though the smallies were ok.  At any rate, we all got totally spanked, unmercifully as I recall.

Guys

I heard from a unofficial source that the tournament will be in March. Apparently there were three clubs wanting to fish Silver Lake in April and Capital City lost out. So, they are scheduling it for March. I will let you know the date when it becomes official.

It will be Held March 25-26, The CCBC Website should have it in the next couple of weeks.  Also, the CCBC lost a couple of other lakes.
