Lakes for 2006

As I puruse the website, the only lake I am missing is for September.  Can someone help me out?  That said, with the tourney in August at Long Lake, seems like a logical time to plan a weeks vacation fishing and fun after that event.  Hmmm........

Kirk-

I believe Moses Lake is the tourney site for September if we don't have any conflicts.

As Dave stated..."Western.....we have a Problem!"

April.......
Mt. St. Helens.....4-8/9-06
Capitol Open.......4-22/23-06
Western..............4-29/30-06

We and Capitol have had the april dates for years and per capitol....St. Helens wont budge..........and said they will go to the number draw at Resolution where all conflicts go to die.

June......
Anglers Choice.......6-3/4-06
Skagit Valley...........6-10/11-06
Western.................6-24/25-06
Anglers Choice cannot switch to our weekend and I am waiting for call back from Skagit.........

Unforseen Conflict.......
Remember the Bass Bowl?......new event this season when 5 of our member boats battle for third place on Lake Washington?
Quess when they are having it in 2006?
The same weekend as our Teamer.......to the state not a conflict as they have 60 boats and we have 15 or so but I would rather not fish against another team tourney we might want to fish as a club.....so my solution is to switch lakes to our alternate of Sammamish on the 14th and 15th.
We will likely have to go to Chelan to get some of these folks to be more flexible but the Washington Teamer is just a change of venue as there is no conflict.

Well... it's final. Here are the lakes for next year.

April........Silver lake....4-29/30
May........Potholes res. .5-20/21
June.......Lake Chelan...6-24/25
July.........Columbia River-Vantage...7-29/30
August...Long Lake-Spokane...8-26/27
Sept.......Moses lake...9-23/24
Oct.........Lake Sammamish....10-14/15

Jack-n-Jill to Alternate...Vantage
Team tourney switched to Alternate Sammamish and to 14th and 15th due to conflict.

Good job guys.  So that means that the "Bass Bowl" is going to be Oct. 21st and 22nd and we move over to Sammamish on the 14th and 15th?

Weigh to go.  ROUND OF APP-LAUSE.

Rich...we had the 7th and 8th on Wash. but the Bass Bowl changed to the 7th and 8th....thusly we changed to Sammamish on the 14th and 15th....we could not keep washington as the Mickelson tournament is on the 21st-22nd.

Kudos to the Sullivan/Jarrell team!  Thanks for lobbying on our behalf- This is the best tournament schedule we have ever had since I have been a WBC member.  The winning weights at these tournaments are going to be astounding....mark my words!!

All, Just will want to make sure we check the concert schedule for the Gorge and the Vantage dates.  Seems as though we will be competing with the Summer Jam (Hip-Hop) for camping.  This is not an event that is pleasing to camp next too at all.  I will talk to Liz about sponsoring from our house, if you guys are willing to make the 20 mile drive.  First, as soon as a concert calendar is out, which it is not, we can check that out.  Great schedule with good lakes that will have everybody catching fish.

Looks like a dandy. I will defintely try to make as many of these as possible outside of NW Bass. I just love some of these picks too much.....Silver lake in April...Potholes in May and Chelan in June.....should be some good weights here. I hope we get a better turn out at Chelan next year. That lake kicked out some monster smallies. 20 boats there would be sweet.

Rob,
I think the smallies bed up in Stehekin.  Better plan for that run.  Stay away from Wapato Point and the State Park area, it is a waste of your time.
