What makes fishing with someone fun? What can spoil it! My top 3 things to make fishing fun are:

1. keep it fun
2. positive attitude
3. catch fish!

What can spoil it for you??

Just curious if I am on the right track here. Woudl love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks much,

Kathy

Kathy,

Fun parts with a friend are also the following:

A) Learning new tricks of the trade.
B) Working together as a team to figure it out.
C) Learning more about the person you are fishing with that you didn't know.

Least Favorites:

A) Not communicating effectively with each other.
B) Not learning something new.
C) Expense splits- Not having your partner split the gas, clean up etc.-Cannot express enough about this one.
D) Impatience by some partners.
E) Know it alls- that don't know squatt.

These are just some of the isssues.

Russ,
Thanks for the input. I have to agree with some of your least favorites! It's hard for those of us who really don't know a lot but are expected to know it all! Appreicate the input. Smiley

Fun:

1. Laughter
2. Figuring out the pattern together
3. Learning new lakes/hot spots/techniques
4. Positive attitude/outlook
5. Teamwork at the launch
6. Catching lots of fish

Not fun:
1.  Angry/negative attitudes
2.  Impatient/frustrated partner
3.  Partner that doesn't help with boat/expenses
4.  Partner leaving a mess behind
5.  Miscommunication about fishing styles/techniques/game plan

Fortunately, the negatives are few and far between.  The folks in this club are outstanding individuals.  Smiley
