Why wouldn't you get an Idaho permit, Larry? The Spokane guys probably do this. Bill Blatner might be able to find out the details, if Dave Altier doesn't already know.

I think the purpose of the form is to gather everyone's thoughts and ideas, then discuss the options at a meeting.

I can just see this thread turning into yet another endless loop of people's likes and dislikes, and reasons why one lake is better over another, etc.  In turn, that might inhibit others from offering their suggestions for locations.

So... let's use the form, shall we?

Thanks!

Sounds like Larry was thinking we might not need one. I am not sure of their rules (Idaho). We could just get a 2 day license for the tournament. Most states have them. We could then fish 8 tournaments a year because WA law wouldn't prohibit us to only 7. I was just thinking that it was too far for most to want to attent. Even though we are Western Bass Club, everything has been is done in Washington State.  At least since I have been a member.

I put my two cents in for Lake chelan in late september or october. the fishing is dynamite then, the scenery is good, the waterskiers have gone home, and you can camp overnight free at the mill bay casino parking lot which is right accros the street from the launch. i know im not a member, but plan on becoming one, so we can fish tournies and such.

Rob,

Was going to mention that but thought someone would bring it up anyway. Hey ya know I used to fish in a Georgia club that fished in Alabama as well as North Carolina for their tourneys. Unfortunatly that won't happen here due to the long drives we all have. Lets stay in Washington shall we. I believe you will get more particpation that way.

We all know California is a little far for a club tourney. I am going to try to go down there early next year to fish the Delta. I recently made contact with my old man who lives in San Jose. I haven't talked to him for about 3 years. He said he would pay my way to haul the boat down there. I think I'll take a week off and do it. May hit Shasta and some others too.

Hey, if we do fish "The Delta", you all will be fishing for 2nd place.  I know the place like the back of my hand.  As for Shasta, can you guys say 50 fish days..... And I am not talking Roosevelt dinks either.
