I think if I were to choose one lure for smallies it would have to be a texas riged 176 grub. I have caught more fish on that then any other lure.

Of course it must be said, that is what I have fished mostly so I cannot say that the others aren't as successful, Like Chucks article says  its all about confidence!

But I think the more successful anglers are confident in serveral lures.

Is there really that much differance, I mean they are basically the same design with few excpetions
