YEESSSSSS! I did it. I cought my first fish, of the season, today. For those that don't know me, I am a very avid duck hunter. I use to drive by and chuckle at the boats on the lake. I believed that if my fingers were going to freeze, I would have a gun in my hand.

Well today I went out for the second time this season and got a 2.5# smallie. Caught it in 37' of water. The surface temp was 44.9 degrees. I was dragging, one of my favorite techniques. Caught it on a double tail spyder jig in green pumpkin.

Don't worry I won't post every fish that I catch. I am just pumped that I caught a fish in March. My wife is really excited that I know can add three more months on to my bass season. Thats 8 months for bass. 3 months for ducks. Pretty cool huh babe?
