Gathered some info(thanx Russ B & Larry G) and went perch fishing Thurs w/dad. Had a blast. Kept 70 between 8" - 11". Not bad for 3 hours. Motored around Groat Pt looking for schools and a place to start. Found em in 60 - 70' of water. Yep, 70'. Our best rig was a dropshot with crappie tube tipped with a piece of nitecrawler. Worked the rig mostly vertically. Mostly a pressure bite. If ya felt weight, set the hook and reel. Most of em had their bladders in their gullets. Came up a long way. They'll eat well.
