Myself and a fellow big bait user facebook friend went out also.  We got there at 5:30am and thought to ourselves, where's Larry  Cheesy Wink

We loaded up and took off.  We ran across a group of fish, only got one to bite but it was a 5 lber on a Rat swimbait. It popped off about as soon as my friend was ready with the net, OUCH.  I caught a 12" on that swimbait also. We used swimbaits most of the time, with a little jig and frogs thrown in.  By 11 am the bite and followers even shut off for us.  We had close calls with a half dozen 3-4 lbers.  We caught 2-3 fish each, but that's the chance you take looking for big ones.  It was an overall fun day on a lake I had not been to in 5+ years.  It's hard to drive past some of the other lakes to this lake, but I will be back soon.  No wake, plenty of small fish, with Big fish to be had, like all the lakes around here.  We left at 1pm due to my partner's prior engagements.  No pics were taken.  Embarrassed

Patricia, Noah and Myself fished St.Clair from 6AM till 5:30 PM along with Chris Blandi and Friend in his boat...

We caught somewhere around 50+ Largemouth from 1/2 pound up to 3 pounds... also 10-11 Rock Bass were harvested out along with a big Perch and three trout.

It was junk fishing as bass were caught on Wacky Rigged Senkos, texas rigged craws/twin tailed grubs, small jigs aand drop shot rigs.

a lot of followers when retrieving baits but the fish would not hit spinnerbaits of shallow cranks. Water temps were topping 70 degrees.

Great time on the water!!!

Will ad more pics when Patricia send them.
Chris can post his report when he gets a chance.

Myself, Patricia and Noah are going to St. Clair on Saturday the 30th... Anyone up for an MLF fishing day? Maybe Shari's Restaurant in Lacey at 4AM and fishing starting at 530....
Use cell phones for recording catches.
Can even do dogs for lunch if we get some folks....
Wanna go? Speak up now...
