Nice buys Darren. I have been happy with my Minn Kota Chargers, both over 2 years old and no issues. I am almost due for new group 27 Interstate's, I better check Costco. $80 sounds cheaper than me buying straight from the Interstate truck.

For anyone curious. I bought two Interstate group 27 batteries at Costco for $80 each. 160Ah which is pretty good for a Group 27, especially at half the price of other batteries. I also ordered a Minn Kota 315 - 3 bank charger. They have a $25 discount going on now, $50 for the mack daddy chargers. So, all said and done I'm in it for less than $300. Not too bad for a new setup.

I have been running the batteries baker sells for the last 4 years and have never had a problem with them. I know a lot of guys are switching to the Interstate DCM0035 for 36 volt systems. They are a AGM battery cost like $80 and only weigh around 25lb each. They only have 35AH but guys are running them on the river and do not have problems.
Interesting that they are able to run that small of a battery. I'm looking at the Interstate Group 27 for the run time. They are about 50 pounds each for the same price at Costco. Would love to save the weight if there was just a bit more amp hours. I haven't heard back from Russ but I suspect his batteries will be twice the cost of the Interstate. I know he stocks good stuff though.

true the charger. Also wait for price to drop. Dropping 150lbs and lifetime lasting are quite intriguing though.
Yep, certainly is. I found Interstate batteries with 210/25a reserve. Not bad. Also found a nice Minn Kota 3 bank charger with a $25 rebate. Looks like I can get it done for $500 after taxes. Not horrible. Waiting to hear back from Russ on what they have.

So one for cranking, another for deep cycle trolling. Getting better but still a bit pricey at the moment. Maybe in a few years like you said. If it was $1,000 to replace all 3 of my batteries I'd have to give it some thought. A new charger would be in order as well.

they have 1 battery 24 and 36 volt versions.

when mine die in 3years or so i'm looking at lithium. ! battery replaces 3 and only weighs 25lbs. maybe technology will be better by then as well. They are supposed to last a lifetime/2000 trips
All I see are 12v versions for between $1,100 and $5,000 each. I'd need 3 of those which would exceed the value of my boat .

I have Interstate Pro Marine Deep Cycle batteries that have been the best trolling motor batteries I've had in my boat. The Pro Line is no longer made, so sad.

Mine are old and I need to replace them. I need two so am shopping around a bit. I also need a new 3 bank charger for my cranking battery and the two marine batteries. My two bank still works but it is pretty old as well so figure now is a good time to replace it. Let me know if you have some favorites or some to stay away from.
