Carl, we will do those fish in’s the following weekend. 5Dinks we will not be fishing any lakes with hp restrictions, only speed limits on a couple.

I remember years ago we went round and round about this "small lakes and no big motors thing". Game and Fish said it was the County Sherrif that enforced it, The Sherrifs Dept said it was up to the responding officers decision for interpretation. The Sherrif said if a homeowner calls, you would more than likely get a ticket. Some said you have to cover your lower unit with a plastic bag and have it raised completely out of the water, while Game and Fish said "It clearly states, no motors over 10 hp"' while others state "no big motors". Good luck guys, I won't be fighting any of those little lakes, or the system. I'll be on Lk Washington where I know I won't have a problem....

Are the dates known yet?

Carl, I tried to find out if that was possible. I’d rather change the lake than get bad information and get everyone ticketed.

A lot of times horse power limits just means you can't drop the engine into the water is long as you have the engine out of the water you're OK I'm not a 100% sure on this but I remember Dan telling me about this back in the day

Ok everyone, I have changed Cassidy to Goodwin due to horsepower limit on Cassidy.

That sucks. Looked at the Fish and Wildlife site and did not tell me this. Good thing I have reserve lakes to use. Thank you for the FYI.

FYI - Lake Cassidy Power boats are permitted but only with a maximum speed of 8 mph and a maximum horsepower of 10.
