Ok. So after a week of no reply to this, I made a few calls. Brad said IT IS THE LAST weekend of September(30th and October 1st). He said according to Larry, it's all finalized...

So, do we have a solid date then? Can you (Larry the big KAHUNA) just put a post up that says "updated and FINAL date for Sept tourney is....." Please? I'm frickin confused. Sounds like we are sharing a permit with CAST for Kids over Labor Day weekend at this point!!!! 🤔

Ok.... Hope this is it... With all the issues from multiple folks out for first time.. And then Cast for Kids and Labor Day weekend the next best option is Sept. 30-Oct 1st..... I have contacted WDFW and have the new permit... Sorry about all the confusion and hopefully this will not adversely affect turnout as this is the last points tournament of the year.

So this change now conflicts with the CAST for Kids Lake Washington event on Saturday the 9th.
Well WE as Western Bass Club shouldn't let that happen. We better change it back to the original weekend, hopefully Larry can join in now as planned. Discussion, or what do we do next ?

That isn't uncommon. Most of our tournaments have other events happening at the same time. On a lake the size of Washington, you won't even notice. They will likely be launching from a different location also.

Is everyone still set on that date? another club has a tourney on lake wa that same weekend

Mike can correct me if he needs too but we did discuss this issue two meetings ago and every one pretty much agreed if it was for the good of the tournament that no one really cared. The only concerns were that if the date needed to be changed it should be done soon and that was the end of the discussion.
My personal opinion is voting on this is a waste of time. It's already been discussed at a meeting and it should be the tournament directors call anyways for the better of the tournament and I feel like Brad made the right call after seeing the list of guys that have a conflict with the original date.
