Fishing was descent. A little slow. But still a good time. Good turnout and nice day. Jose' landed his 1st fish of the year right at the end. A nice smallie over 2lb. Patricia got on the board too with a smallie on a texas rigged senko. Derrick took the big fish with a nice 3lb largie right off the bat, while me and larry battled it out for the overall. larry with 1 largemouth, 2 smallies. Me with 3 smallmouth. I got lucky and just edged him out by a few ounces. Home owner on the lake showed me/mike where a 7lber came out the week before by someone. But we couldn't get her interested. Next month will be terry's suggestion.....lawrence lake. Details to come.....

Great time!  Earlier in the morning seemed to be better!   My only fish, just under 3 pounds caught on a jig.

Boy, did I stir the pot.. HAHAHA  Glen, you're right, nobody is holding me back. So far this year, I have taken out 3 potential members and an additional one has joined, none of which had anything to do with Fish Ins. I'm doing my part to AMBASSADOR. Have fun out there guys. See you on Lk Washington for the April Tourney...

If there are any new members or just non-boaters in general that do not already have someone to ride with please let us know in this form so we can make sure you have someone to ride with. Also if you plan on going and you have an open backseat We might need you to have a new member with you on Saturday just depends on who shows up. Thank you.  Btw  after a week of really warm weather and knowing the fish that have come out of this lake there could be some pigs caught this weekend!

Smiley Thank you Glenn.
Just to be clear my comment was sarcastic humor.  Looking forward to enjoying more fish-ins in the future. Looking forward to more of the experienced members to make these events to assist in the learning curve for many of new members. Let's have fun and learn.

The Ambassador program was never designed to be a "pre-fishing program" for tournaments. Never has that impression ever been given, nor will it.  If you want to pre-fish a lake for a tournament, nobody is holding you back.

If, on the other hand, you want to fish with other members, teach new anglers about the sport, learn new things, introduce new and potential members to the club, and have a whole lot of fun while doing it, then you're welcome to participate!

Tournaments are fun, no doubt, but this club is more than just tournaments.

I have come to the conclusion that we will hold all our tournaments for the 2017 year on all the lakes we have fish-ins  on this year during the months April through October.  Wink
