Everyone,

We've figured out what were doing for our new shirts and I'll be posting all the details late Sunday night.  Amazing how busy life can get with two active teenagers and a fish-in on Saturday.

Looking forward to taking orders and getting us all into some cool t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies.

Karl

I've got the big book and samples of t-shirts and a sweatshirt. I spent quite a bit of time this morning and wrote up a page of choices of shirts, sweatshirts and caps. Looking at both quality and price, marking what is my presidents choice. Caps I found 3 options that appeal to me, no favorite.

I've got pricing and color swatches to choose the right logo colors from Dugans to share at the next meeting.

I was going to order this and get it probably by next week to just have. And show how simple/fast we can do what we want online

Id say we just order the shirts online like we do for our softball team. Quick, easy, design whatever u want. And cheaper. I made these two rough designs in 5 min on ebay. $10.99 a shirt. Just my two cents tho. I'm not a fan of waiting on people I like to just go get it done.  Especially when it's business for them.

We've silkscreened the "bottom logo" (the one on the upper right of this forum) before, and it turned out great!

I like it because it's easy to read and identify from far away.

I spoke with Jim Dugan last Monday about getting some pricing information and also to explain about how the colors of the logo would look better, be more vibrant, with a white base underneath.

Have not received an e-mail from Jim yet.  If he doesn't send me anything by today I'll follow up with him tomorrow to get this info.

He said we could have some sample t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies to show everyone quality and sizing by the annual banquet.

Thanks for the foot work and update Karl.

I don't want an athletic grey color t-shirt. Let's have colors that will pop.

I'll talk with Jim Dugan again but it sounded like the silk screen colors will look best if they are put on a white base layer under the logo, kind of like putting primer on before you paint on wood.

Without a white base layer, the silk screen will absorb into the fabric.  So I don't believe using the color of the underlying shirt as part of the logo color scheme is a good idea.  I'll confirm this with Jim to make sure I understood this correctly next week.

I'll also get pricing information and relay to everyone.
