No offense. Single day tourneys i feel are the fish ins. Two day tourneys are
the only way to go.

None taken. A fish-in has no prizes and doesn't count towards standings. A single day tournament would of course count and would have weigh-ins etc... I love the fish-ins as well but many of us work a weekend day or are otherwise tied up with family. Also, spending the weekend east of the mountains is not doable for many of us. Just a thought anyway.

Traditionally the third weekend of each month is the scheduled tournament weekend.... so with WBA's posted schedule it should look like this...
April 18-19 lake Washington (Western runs tourney)
May 16-17 Potholes Reservoir (Western Event)
June 20-21 Riffe lake but WBA has an tournament on Sammamish so will need to verify.
No event in July waived so folks can fish Northend Jack-n-Jill.
August 15-16 should be Chelan but not listed yet...
Sept. 19-20 (listed as WBA run event)
Oct usually is the first weekend in Oct.. WBA has lake Wa. but as an Open Fish-Off event... will update all these dates after the meeting tonight and get them posted tonight.

I'm hoping there will be a schedule soon. My window for adjusting my work schedule is closing rapidly. I know it has been difficult to get a schedule together from lack of member participation. The board may have to put one together themselves without a whole lot of input.

I'm in favor of more single day tournaments to make it easier to participate with a couple two day tournaments. Just my opinion though.

Is WBC having any tournaments in 2015?  I just checked the 2015 schedule (http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/contests/index_2015.html) and there was no mention of WBC, even though all the other clubs and tournament circuits were listed.
