Thanks for the encouragement... I'll have to give that a shot next time I'm able to get out in the morning. Unfortunately right now most of my free time is right after work between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Weekends are filled with chores but I'm gonna try and get out one weekend soon.

Don't be too discouraged Darren. This is a tough time of year.  Some of the lakes are still in post spawn and the fish have lockjaw.  It will soon turnover and things get fun again.  Try early morning Zara Spooks at edges of grass next time you go out and let me know if it works. That's what I'm doing first thing Saturday morning...

Another bust. The time wasn't optimal but I didn't even get a bite. This lake really has me baffled for such a small lake Smiley

The water was 77 degrees, I hit docks, pads, 5-20 feet of water off weed-lines. Nuttin!

Hi guys,

I'll be on Sawyer July 8th after work. Will be fishing with a buddy. Just thought I'd see if anyone else might be fishing Sawyer tomorrow afternoon as well.
