Looks like fun!  It's been awhile since I've been to that lake.  Looks like you're right - it's alive and well!

Silver Lake Resort still cheap at $28.00+tax....... Caught 7 on Monday and 12 on Tuesday.... breezy Monday and wasted time in Hemlock Creek with the cold water on Tuesday... Tongue

Fished Silver Lake in Castle Rock for Memorial day and the following Tuesday before thunderstorms descended and chased me away..... The lake was around a foot low and yet still had spawning fish paired up... did not see any fry but with the water color being muddy not too surprised..... water temps ranged from 67-71 depending if you were near a creek discharge.... one creek, Hemlock Creek was at 58 degrees!!! Lily Pads are at full speed spreading out across the lake and lots of yearlings stealing baits all over the pad fields. here are a few pic's.....
