Joel, next month is Lake nominations month. Was some discussion at this last meeting. The search is on to come up with a lake that has camping/resort facilities that will put us all together so as we may go for pizza and/or have a bbq. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Rodney,
I know I'm pretty far out of the loop I usually have class pretty late on meeting days but I think we accomplish getting most of us together at Silver Lake don't we??  I just want to catch some fish!  I'm not totally against Silver Lake I fish it all the time and have a pretty love hate relationship with it but it's proving every year that it's producing less and less in the early spring.  I think most of us at the tournament and the biologist agreed that somethings not quite right with the lake, but we have to remember how unstable the weather has been the last couple years during our tournaments.  I hope they get it figured out but you can bet if we go in May or June we probably whack em!

No fish weighed at Capital City's Silver Lake Open 27 boats in the open on Silver Lake on March 19

St Helen's was won with a 5.4 lber or something close to that.  28 boats, 9 boats caught fish, 11 fish total.

We had 9 boats & 2 fish were caught Total 6.82 lbs

Lets say each boat spent on average $200 in gas & others stuff to fish these events (I bet its lot more) That's 64 boats 3 events & 13 fish  $200x64=$12800 spent divided by 13 fish = $984 a fish

Wow Silver Lake should win some kind of award for the biggest $ per pound or the biggest sucker events ever.

Thats some expensive fish Grin

Congrats Larry

I vote we don't go back to Silver Lake in early-mid april anymore!  We whine about it every year but we keep taking the punishment. How about no tournaments in April and two in May?

Not correct, but not much better.

Larry Sullivan with 2 fish, 6.82 lbs day one, none day 2.
Everyone else tied for 2nd and zeros both days.

Disgusting Angry

Not looking good.  Stacie Kelsey posted an update over on WALakes, looks like no fish caught by the club for day 1.
