As Big D mentioned it was real slow. That one fish made the day for sure!

We had a few bites. I caught one pirch and the pig. I caught the fish on the end of the dock & rocks in about 1 1/2 feet of water. I was dead sticking a 5" senko, on the island for those who didn't know.

We tried spinnerbaits, crankbaits, brush hogs, jigs and senkos. It was a tough day. I guess we should have fished the ends of docks dead sticking a senko.

Water is still a foot low. They need alot of rain to get the water back up for spring fishing.

Nice Fish Daryl.

Not exactly a spot you have to worry about hiding though. How was fishing besides the toad?

mind sharing the technique Daryl?  Depending on weather, I may be down there Friday to crappie fish and I'm sure I'll give the bass a few hours...

Nicely done!  But you should have swung the boat away from the shore before you took the picture to keep us guessing as to where you were at... haha  Love that shoreline!

I caught this fish this weekend at Silver Lake. Mike S. and I figured it was between 6.8lbs and 7lbs.
