Just want to say thanks to everyone, especially Terry for letting me fish with him. Didn't think I would be able to fish let alone catch 3 largies on my first trip on these waters. It was nice to meet other members that both the wife and I had not met yet. It was fun. And congrats to all the winners.

ya that was fun to tow in  Roll Eyes.  almost as fun as fishing in the dunes for six hours wihtout a bite  Cry.  heard 21lbs of smallies won the aba  Shocked.  great job to those that put a hurt on the fish.

Day 2 cancelled due to high winds !!  It was blowing pretty good.  About got knocked down in Ellensburg when I got out of the van to get gas  Shocked

Report from Potholes after day 1:

Weather was cool. 62 degree water in the dunes, colder in the main lake.

I hear smallies are leading it. The largie guys are having trouble from what my inside source says.

I wish I was there to show them how its done but am drinking a cold one after I helped mow down 40lbs of boiled crawfish.

If you can't find them shallow where are the fish going to go? Deeper.
