I know what you mean. Keri and I were on Sawyer yesterday and just slayed 'em! They were all up on beds. There was no wind, only 1 water skiier for a short period of time, NO other bass boats, perfect air temps... what a kick!

Another tough day on Lawrence. Saw about the same amount of fish as I did at the fish-in, but couldn't get any to go. Sight fishing, if you can see them, they can see you type of deal. They love going in and out of that reed/cattail line. Saw them up to probably 7 lbs. I did see one ball of new-borns, but there weren't many of them. I took a work buddy along, he was fishing for trout/bass out of the back of the boat. 65 degree water when we left, 61 in the morning. Wish it would have started off overcast like the weather reports said, sunscreen is the only thing I left home without
Good to be finally back out on the water

Well thank you Chris. Yeah, the body gaurd is my best friend's little brother, we took him out for a couple of hours. He caught a MONSTER SCULPIN, it was like 7 inches or longer. Bit on a 5 inch senko

I wanted to make it so bad to Lake Lawrence, but I just couldn't afford the gas ($4.02 next to the house) HAHA. So I decided to head to Long Lake which is only 3 minutes from the house.
The smaller one which went around 4 1/2 lbs. on a Yamamoto Kut-Tail and the bigger LM, my scale's batteries died, but an estimate is in between 5-6 pounds, which was on a Jig with a KGM Trailer. Just finding time after school to go fish.

Thanks all and congrats to you too Russ. It was a fun day. The 8-4 is the second largest largemouth and the 7-14.75 is my 4th largest largemouth ever. To get both in one day was great. Went out Sunday AM too and lost one that ran a high six, low seven. Hope to see more hogs pictured this weekend too.
