I froze on Meridian yesterday with no bites. It didn't help that when I pulled up to the launch that the F&G was there dumping 8000 little trout in the lake. Dam you global warming

I bundled up like a kid going sledding in the winter and fished American Lake on Sunday, the water temp had dropped 2 degrees from last week. At least I was warm and no bites. Only one bass boat was out and a few slimmer fishermen.

I am now currently looking at a 1/2" of pee size hail in my parking lot at the office. And this is a day away from April. At this rate the spawn will be in July.

I had one of the best days I had ever had on Sawyer on a really cold snowy day in February once. Caught a limit of smallies with two over 5. Don't let cold and snow lead you to believe you won't get a thing. On the right day it can be golden.
