I would go with the 135 because of the higher pixel count, "480x480" It can really make a difference in what you see.........

The power is fine on either unit if you are going to use a TM mounted transducer. If you use that type transducer, use the GPS just to be able to track back to the sweet spot that is very tight and hard to hold on with a breeze blowing when you are on the drop shot.

i wont say its imperitive to have a GPS unit at the bow, but oh how it makes life easier. helps locate spots while on the TM and track movements (which is nice when dragging, drifting or just fishing a large flat). if money is no issue than GPS would be nice.
between the 240 or x135 i would go with the x135

I'm looking at a getting another unit up front to replace my X97. Which one would you get? I'm looking at getting a used one and I can get either one a about the same price. Should I go with a GPS/Sonar with less power (2400watts) or one with no GPS, but more power (4000watts)? Is it important to have GPS up front? I already have a 520c at the console.
