Hey Says,
In most situations, an 8 or 10 pound mushroom anchor will work for you. They hold in the mushy or gravelly bottoms most lakes have around here and they are easy to store and retrieve. It helps to attach about 3 feet of chain at the anchor to keep it on the bottom.
If you are going to fish river currents or high winds very often, you might need something different, but a mushroom anchor will get you through almost any situation.

After doing some sight fishing earlier this month, I realize the need of an anchor. I have a zx190 and I was wondering what weight and style of anchor would be good for the types of lakes around here.
