Daylight savings time begins this year on March 11 due to a law that Congress passed in 2005.

Since it is "spring forward," that means that it will be dark longer in the AM and light longer in the PM, so it looks like our launch times will have to be later (first safe light) for any early tourneys (Silver Lake Open) and other fishing days early in the season.

We’ll spring forward in winter
Daylight-saving time begins March 11, but many unaware of the change
