Well I appreciate that Doug. But I feel if I can't afford it then I don't go. Would hate to put the money burden on someone else.

Rob, I wish I would have known, I would have covered the entry fee and 1/2 of everything else...

Short on funds. I wish I could have. It is a fun tournament. Maybe I should have started a charity fund to pay for it..??

What idiot has two times on his watch?  Wink

I also want to say thanks to Daryl & Jack for helping me out in the card games.

It was a blast.

Chad,

Maybe we finished worse than I thought. I'm still working on getting the results. I just called Ken Rundle for the results.

It was a team error. We double checked all day long on Saturday with Mark's watch against the cell phone, but after trusting Mark's watch all day Saturday, who would have thought the time would be different the next day?

From now on I am using the alarm on the phone and the alarm on the electronics.

I had a great time, learned a ton about Banks and we caught a lot of really good fish. Thanks, Mark!

The mighty Lund also performed just as advertised. 38 mph across the open rough water in heavy wind and waves.

Had a great time hanging out with everyone and really enjoyed watching Jack rocketing down the lake in that  new iClass.

I will try to get a hold of Ken Rundle on results like I did last year. Man we couldn't buy 2-1/2 lber's all weekend. With 18.53lbs all we needed was 3 of these and we to would have been in the money like last year. Oh well Bob and I did get to Hotel for free and had a great time as usuall so I can't complain one bit.

Yes I heard Mark Maderos is asking for a Timex for Christmas. Wink .

So before the story can get totally blown out of proportion, the Stu and Mark story is this.  We screwed up. Mostly ME.  My watch has two time setting and somehow my watch setting was reading my second time which is an hour behind the real time.  Stu and I got back late to weigh in and we were disqualified.  My fault Stu, sorry.  With our combined weight we would have finished 6th or 7th with 20+ lbs.  The road bed was red hot for us by the way Rob.  Fishing was definitely tougher this year, with not as many fished caught.  Barker Canyon cove was not nearly as stacked with fish as last year, but was definitely stacked with boats on Saturday.  Had two boats pull right in on top of us on Saturday morning. Well within the 50yd distance.  No ethics there, talk about giving tournement bass fishermen bad images.  Usually baits for Stu and I, with 176 grubs and carolina lizards on the road bed.

It was quite fun actually. Temps in the 40's, wind gusts to 20's, sustained winds around 15 or so. Teams of Baker/Payseno & Oday/Jesse finished somewhere around top 15. Took 20 lbs to be in the money. Cash started at 9th this year. Winners were same as last year but with 25lbs.

We caught 3-4 limits each day and upgraded our catch.
Same baits and water as last year.

Where was Logston/Holmes team? We missed you Lyle at the card game.
