That's a fatty.  With this stable weather they should be moving in again.

My first good WA fish this year.  Caught off shore.  3.6 lbs, get out there and catch some of them fat fish.  I swore it was 4 when she rolled, that was one fat fish.

I was out on Washington a few weeks ago and cruised by where I thought the Cedar Creek came in.  I don't know that I saw a way back in there from the lake.  Is there something I am missing?  Sounds like a good place to catch some spawners.

Dang Rob, I knew I should have never shown you and Carlos that spot.  Now everyone in the club is on to it.  Oh well, pulling back to back 4lb smallies will just get a little tougher.

No Smitty, that's the new development in Maple Valley they built on the Cedar River. They widened the river and dredged it out. The water pools in there, and so do the smallies. But now the cat is out of the bag.....

That shoreline looks suspiciously like the Newport Shores canals rather than the Cedar river.  Hmmm. Grin

Carlos,

Mark and I just got back from fishing two great days on Lake WA, and your advice worked-Cedar baby produced three 4+ fish for us.

Thanks again,
Russ
