Yes, it's true, it's been since October since Keri and I have been fishing!  Shocked  Our schedule has been at a very frantic pace, but I think it's easing up just in time for Spring.

Well, finally we hit Big Lake today.  It was only for about 3 hrs, but it was an accomplishment just to get out.  First fish in the boat was 5lbs 4ozs, followed by a 4lb 7oz largemouth.  I can't remember ever having a year starting out that way.

We couldn't buy a bite on reaction lures, or skipping under docks.  So we finally resorted to the Rev's Sammamish tactic - drifting slowly in the pads throwing Senkos.  Both fish came in less than 4 feet.

What a kick.  Hope it's a sign of a great season to come!  Grin
