It was a great tournament with absolutely awesome participants & weather.

Congrats again to Keri, Russ & Glenn for taking home the hardware & ca$h.  They brought in (& released) some beautiful fish!

Thanks also to Mark for taking on the TD job and running a smooth tournament for us.

I too had a great time, making fun of Baker and commenting on Maderos' wife. What a blast. As for the boat, what can you do. Things happen. It took the wind out of my sails, so I just decided to have fun.

Congrats to Lyle on a great Angler of The Year season and to the top finishers this weekend.

Mark,,
Well run tournament, great laughs- I nearly busted my gut laughing so hard at the game on Friday, great weather, good fish biting, no boat problems-except Smitty-sorry Smitty-atleast fix was quick, great confortable lodging. I would vote for this place again for September anytime.

Well folks, the  weather was great, the fishing was good and the poker game was even better.  A great time was had by all.

There was very little current down river or in the Snake arms and fishing in those area's was slow at best.  Most managed some fish out of these area's but it seemed if you were going to catch any fish in abundance going up stream was the ticket this year.  Russ Baker managed to get into some shallow water and find Largemouth.  Big smallies were caught on the usuall suspects.  Carolina, drop shot, tubes, and grubs.  Results are :

1st pl                             Keri May .......                 24.71lbs
2nd pl                            Russ Baker .......             22.82lbs
3rd pl                             Glenn May .....                22.32lbs
4th pl                             Brian Walker .......          22.23lbs
5th pl                             Marc Fields .......             15.78lbs
6th pl                             Mark Maderos .......        14.81lbs
7th pl                             Bob Paysno .......            13.54lbs
8th pl                             Jim Smitty Smith .......     13.46lbs
9th pl                             Jim Rumann .....              11.89lbs
10th pl                           Rob Maglio .......             10.15lbs

Thanks to all who helped me run the tournement, Stu you know who you are. Wink
