I got my early fish shallow with a rattle trap.  After that it was carolina and drop shot in 18 to 30ft of water.  It was fun site fishing in 25ft of water and watching a 5lber nail your bait.

I'm wondering the same thing.  How deep were the fish caught, and what part of the day?  ???

Great job to all who were fishing this week-end.  It sounds as though another lake has been found for the bass club.

For those who thought Chelan was a rough water lake..........You were right, but not this weekend!
As billed by the likes of Jeff Boyer Chelan has lots of large Smallies including Dave Jarrells 6lb1 oz toad! There were also four 5+ fish!
First was Mark Maderos with an awesome catch of 29 pounds 8 ounces and second was yours truly with 26-6 and Bob Brownlee with his first trophy finish of 24-6 anchored by an awesome first day limit of 18-1!
I will post all the totals after this thunderstorm passes.

Larry.
