Angry  Jerrie and I fished this lake 5 times including TODAY and have yet to get ANY fish to EVEN look at our baits!
We tried all kinds of things. Doubt this lake has any fish in it what-so-ever.   ???

Thanks Brian and Faz.  I think I'll wait until spring to fish it again.  Looked like a nice lake though.

Chris, If you need a good source for bass on american, try Mack Randle with puyallup hog hunters, we talk alot and I know he fishes it on a regular basis.  Brian (The Weedwalker)

Haven't fished it for two years but one weekend Nancy I went out and despite the protestations of some people at the Marina "There ain't no Bass in this lake" - we bagged a couple of two pound plus Smallies, one within 50 yards of the Marina. We got some really shocked looks when we went back and waved these "not Bass" at them!!!

I've even heard of Largemouth in the lake too.

Well I went there this morning.  Water was glass, but it was a cold one.  Fished from about 8:30-12:30pm.
Caught a few perch drop shotting, the perch were coming from 40-55 feet of water.  Even tryed trolling for trout a little Undecided with no success.  Nice looking lake though, bet its crowded in the summer.

I thought about going to American lake, possibly saturday morning.  How is this lake for bass?  Anyone fish it on a regular basis?  Is it worth fishing this time of year knowing nothing about it?  Thanks.
