All I can say about Sammamish is last year in the third week of October, I got a 6lb Largemouth in 7ft of water under a dock, skipping a Senko!!! I was backseating with Mr. Sullivan, as usual he got me on good fish!
I'm hoping to make it, I like the lake and it has good Smallies and Largies.

It kinda depends upon the weather whether or not I'll be coming. I've finally got the boat clean from the trip east and have waited the proscribed amount of time for the Zebra muscles to die. If the weather isn't rainy, I will most likely show up. ???

Guys,
I fished a tournament the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of October on Lake Sammamish. The fish were in 27 to 32 feet of water. The surface temps were about 58 degrees. We were catching fish on drop shots and carolina rigs with small baits.(2 big smallmouth bags between 13 lbs. and 14lbs were caught)
For you largemouth fisherman, spinnerbaits, topwater, and small jigs worked well.( 1 largemouth bag around 7lbs was caught and a lot of bigger fish sited) and 1 4lbs. largemouth on a drop shot.
Good luck
Daryl

Just your standard deep water patterns. i guess you'd need a little more lead than usuall. Since I think the fish will be down 35-45 feet deep.

I see there will be a fish-in on Saturday. Not ever having fished for bass this late in the year, I'm wondering what tactics you guys would employ on Sammamish at this time of year.
