Based on previous "T" s I've fished down there about 18.5 to 19 lbs for a two day event. Undecided

Now if a contestant gets into a couple of good sized largemouths, and there are some, or Smallies, that will definately drive the weight up to the range that Larry predicts. Grin

Having fished Shasta many times myself, I would expect 26lbs to win it for a two day tourney. About 13lbs a day. That is a limit of two pounders and one kicker in the 4lb range. Mark

I guess you can catch "Spots" as deep as 70 ft. You will definitely have to work through smaller fish for bigger ones. I heard there are a lot of them in there.

Larry its a two day tournament, but if you make the top 50 on friday you fish on Saturday. Hope I'm in top 50 if I get good partners that is. You know Shasta is full of dinks like Roosevelt is. RB

Is it three days or two......... 2 days.........26.5 lbs 3 days.........34.5 lbs but either way...real tight competition as all should limit with Shastas history! SLAY 'EM BIG GUY!
