Last time I fished angle lake, I caught a dink that was so deformed, I didnt know what was goin on.  It looked like his back was broken in 4 different places, I got a pic of it.  Its going to be one weird lookin 5 lber some day.  I dont see much junk in Angle, the water is pretty clear compared to other lakes around here.

Jim,
Next May go to the public dock and look under it!  Don and I stopped by there one day a couple of years ago and saw 4 bass bedding under the dock.  One of them had to be 5 lbs.+.  Yes, there are fish in Angle Lake.

There's fish in angle lake? I figured they would have been killed off by now with all the junk in it

My fishing book says 570 acres.  It also says there are some whopper rock bass, might be cool to catch one of those.  I've got a few at Angle lake before.

I think I'll make it, should I bring my bath tub, or will there be an open back seat? That is the question. We shall see. How big is Black Lake, anyway?

Black lake has smallies in it. You can catch them in shallow, weedy water like a largemouth though. Try shallow cranks over the shallow weeds. Smaller jigs on the outside weedline should catch a fish or two also. I won't be able to attend due to prior obligations, but I would if I could. Have a great time for those that make it.

I thought about going, but it depends on the weather and turn out.  Is Black lake pretty much largemouth only?  How bad is the algae bloom going to be for anyone thats been there lately?
