Big fish weight and who caught it is good enough for me. That's what takes the money.

I have to say it was a blast as well. I hope I helped you with your bass fishing adventures. Even with the limited knowledge that I have.

We had a great time four bying in the boat to save all the tackle we could from those sticky trees and rocks

Dave even got a crash course in helm control when we saved a drifting canoe and I ended up in the canoe.

I was lucky enough to fish with Jim on his boat and had a great time!  We saw a lot of good-looking water and "Captain Jim" put me right on top of a 2 lb. smallmouth that proved easy to catch.  Big fish of the day easily would have gone to Jim, but the feisty smallmouth snapped his line when it got close to the boat.  Shocked

I found the "Captain" to be quite generous with his gear and advice, not to mention quite deft with his ability to manuver the boat into tight spaces so I could get my hook unsnagged, uh, more than once.  Wink

Thanks for a great day on the water, Jim!!  Smiley

Yeah good question, but the flying fish dude spoke as if he took big fish and killed the competition or something according to his Humble Pie post. Make sure you read it and give him the club welcoming Hardtime.

Jim, does that mean the Pierce County Park will be opening earlier than the normal 8am? Did you arrange that? If so, I'm impressed!
