Wish I could have been fishing this weekend, had to work. Good luck everyone. It sounds as if you were finding where the good ones were hiding.

Cool?! That's an UNDERSTATEMENT!! Ice-covered boats greeted us Saturday morning... not frost, ICE! We had to scrape off our windsheilds before driving to launch. The dock was icy too. It was also cold this morning. Not quite as cold - just frosty. Oy!
Yes, indeed the bite picked up a bit on the second day. Most everyone weighed at least one fish.

Cool, Bill! Thanks for updating us chumps who can't be there... Pretty impressive limit by Mr. Logston considering past Silver Lake weights.

Well the hearty club members were met by cool, cool weather to start the tournament today. But with a lot of work they were able to find some fish.
Lyle Logston leads the pack with 5 fish for 12+ lbs Doug Booth found 4 fish for 10 lbs 13ozs Brian Walker is in third with 9 lbs 5 ozs Terry has 6lbs 5ozs (1 fish, but a good one) Smitty is right behind with 5lbs 11ozs Mark Maderos managed 2 fish for 4lbs 4ozs Ron got 2 for 3lbs 3ozs Dave is sitting with 3lbs even.
The weather is supposed to be warm up tomorrow and with it a lot of folks are confident that the bite will pick up.
