After more than a year in dry dock, the green machine is now undergoing repairs.

John Harris has very kindly been helping me tear down the engine (actually, John did 95% of the tear-down, and I will be helping with the rebuild) - I found a local shop to resleeve and rebore the bad cylinder, and they have all the remaining parts needed for the complete powerhead overhaul including a new crankshaft, one piston as well as complete sets of rings, bearings, seals and gaskets.

Courtesy of the Tax-man I might even have the Nitro back on the water in time for Silver Lake.
