Pat and I hit lake Sammamish on Tuesday.  Considering Pat was with Virgil when he nailed that big bass just two days earlier, I was hoping some of that Sotherlund magic would prevail.  But alas, Sammamish bass were to be elusive that day, with only a single two-pound largemouth to show for a days' effort.  We tried a variety of baits at different depths/locations, but didn't get any bites.  We didn't see any activity either (carp, baitfish....even on the depthfinder).  It just seemed the fish had lockjaw for some reason.

Oh well, it was a beautiful day to be out anyway.  No skiiers or wind to speak of.  Just calm, quiet, and sunny.   8)
