Virgil and I fished Meridian Saturday. This was my first time on this lake. I ended up with 4 SM and 1 perch, mostly by dragging a split shot Zoom lizard.  Virgil went after the LM, got 7 and 1 SM.  That alone would have been a good day for the middle of October but Virgil made it a great day when he set the hook on a 6#10oz LM.  Unbelievable fish, looked like a Buick coming out of the water !  We took lots of photos and then released it on the same dock. You guys can ask Virgil what he was using at the meeting, no it was not a buzz bait.
