Fantastic Potatoes

5 - 6 potatoes, washed and peeled
1 stick butter
seasoned salt - to taste
8 ounces sour cream
1 package Ranch style dressing mix
1/2 pound  grated cheddar cheese

Dice potatoes into 2 quart covered casserole dish.
Slice butter over potatoes and season with salt.
Cover and bake one hour at 350 degrees.
Combine sour cream and Ranch dressing mix.
Pour over potatoes and top with cheese.
Return to oven to melt, mix and serve.
